Wow…
It’s been a crazy first week, first with introductions - then with two long days of rigorous TAKS pretesting. whew. But I think we picked it up and had some fun with the puzzle activity today, and tomorrow we’ll continue the theme with learning about the roles of professionals who study the past, including the historian, geographer, archaeologist, and anthropologist. Look for the podcast tomorrow!
The Village Game
This will be our first activity of the year. I expect students to take an active role in the classroom, and lead their groups to victory!
To get a leg up on the competition, check out “Village Game Scenarios.doc” in Class Files to see where we are going with this thing.
Hello!
Welcome to our class blog for your World History class at Rockport-Fulton High School. This is as much your site as it is mine. I encourage you, your classmates and your parents to take an active role in the discussions taking place here. I will post updates, reminders, extra credit material, and opportunities for you to learn more outside the classroom.
First Post
This is how easy it is to post news to the website. just go to blogger.com, write up some news, and then hit “publish”. The post now shows up on the main page automatically.
